Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality diagnostic Computerized Tomography scans in accordance with established protocols.
- Interact with patients, respond to their questions and concerns, and ensure their comfort throughout the procedure.
- Accurately document all necessary aspects of the procedure.
- Maintain a safe environment in the procedure space at all times.
- Utilize Epic, our electronic medical record system.
- Verify that all imaging has been successfully transferred to our imaging storage and retrieval system.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy in performing procedures using diagnostic equipment.
- Report any issues or problems with systems or equipment to management.
Required Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Hold active ARRT certification.
- Possess current BLS certification, obtained within the last six months, and continuously maintain it.
- Be able to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of equipment, including CT scanners, patient transfer devices, security systems, fire alarms, Three Dimensional workstations, emergency equipment, Power Injector, PC, and printers.
- Show willingness to train and maintain competencies.
