We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Interim HealthCare Staffing. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing quality diagnostic radiology exams, including CT scans, in accordance with established protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with patients and respond to questions/concerns regarding the procedure.
- Document all needed aspects of the procedure accurately.
- Maintain a safe environment in the procedure space.
- Use Epic, a leading healthcare software system.
- Verify that all imaging has transferred to the imaging storage and retrieval system.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy when performing procedures using diagnostic equipment.
- Report any problems or issues with systems or equipment.
Requirements:
- Hold active ARRT certification.
- Possess BLS certification, obtained within the last six months and continuously maintained.
- Be able to safely and efficiently operate CT equipment, patient transfer devices, security systems, fire alarms, Three Dimensional workstations, emergency equipment, Power Injector, PC, and printers.
- Be willing to train and maintain competencies.
