We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Community Staffing member. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to elderly individuals in assisted living/memory care communities throughout the Cambridge area.
Key Responsibilities:
Case management, medication management, overall health status monitoring, supervising CNA's/PCA's on your shift, providing health education to residents and their families, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, responding to medical emergencies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, and fostering open and transparent communication with residents, their families, and staff.
Requirements:
An RN degree from an accredited school of nursing, current and valid RN license in the state of Minnesota, previous experience in geriatric nursing, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a compassionate and empathetic approach to working with senior residents, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, and willingness and flexibility to cover on-call needs over the phone.
