Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Community Staffing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in geriatric nursing and a passion for providing holistic care to elderly individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Comprehensive health assessments, medication management, and overall health status monitoring for residents in an assisted living/memory care facility.
- Supervision: Oversight of CNA's/PCA's on your shift, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Health Education: Providing educational sessions to residents and their families on disease management, preventative care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Effective communication with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Emergency Response: Prompt and efficient response to medical emergencies, following established protocols.
- Documentation: Accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and communications related to resident care.
Requirements:
- RN Degree: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current and valid RN license in the state of Minnesota.
- Geriatric Experience: Previous experience in geriatric nursing, with a strong understanding of the unique needs of elderly individuals.
