About the Position
We are seeking a registered nurse to join our community staffing team, supporting assisted living/memory care communities in the Albert Lea area. As a per diem RN, you will have the opportunity to work flexible hours and develop your skills in geriatric nursing.
Key Responsibilities
- Case management for residents in assisted living/memory care facilities
- Supervising CNAs/PCAs on your shift
- Providing health education to residents and their families
- Coordinating with other healthcare professionals
- Responding to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements
- RN degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Minnesota
- Previous experience in geriatric nursing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with senior residents
