Trained Medication Aide (TMA)
Seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to assist with patient care and medication administration in our Minnetonka and surrounding Twin Cities Metro area facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications safely and effectively, as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with daily patient care activities, including hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
- Monitor resident responses to medication, identifying and reporting any concerns or changes.
- Maintain accurate records of patient medication, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Current Trained Medication Aide (TMA) certification, verified by a diploma indicating at least 48 hours of training.
- Active registration as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of MN.
- Minimum one year of experience working in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility.
- Age 18 or older.
- Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and effective charting practices.
