Trained Medication Aide (TMA)
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Trained Medication Aide to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely administer prescribed medications to patients as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with patient care and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor residents' response to medication and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain open communication with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Diploma verifying a minimum of 48 hours of training as a Trained Medication Aide.
- Current CNA registry with the state of MN.
- One year of experience working in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English in verbal and written form.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems and ability to chart effectively.
