Main Responsibilities:
- Safely administer prescribed medications to patients
- Assist with patient care activities, including monitoring resident's response to medication
- Ensure medication storage and handling comply with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate patient medication records and report any concerns or changes
Requirements:
- Must have a Trained Medication Aide (TMA) certification with a diploma verifying a minimum of 48 hours of training
- Current CNA registry with the state of MN
- One year of experience working in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work communicate in English in verbal and written form
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
