As a member of our care team, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Care for the patient in the comfort of their own home
- Work closely with family members to ensure loved one is receiving requested care
- Work with a team of RNs, LPNs and aides to deliver excellent patient care
- Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
- Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
- Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment
A few must-haves for Care staff:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Some knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations is preferred
- Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with Seniors
- RELIABILITY and ability to SELF MOTIVATE is required
- Reliable transportation, ability to travel to multiple clients in a day if needed
