Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team at Interim HealthCare. As a CNA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as light housekeeping, preparing meals, assisting with personal hygiene, and grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship and conversation to help alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Teach patients essential self-care skills, as needed, to promote independence and confidence.
- Help patients navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to our nursing team, when appropriate.
Requirements:
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification.
- Attention to detail; able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition.
- Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations.
