About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients. As a Home Health SLP, you'll have the chance to work independently and take ownership of your caseload, while also collaborating with our experienced clinical team.
You'll work with patients who are struggling with communication, swallowing, or cognitive difficulties due to illness or injury. Your goal will be to help them regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients' communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted treatment plans.
Provide one-on-one speech therapy sessions to patients in their homes, using evidence-based techniques and technologies to maximize progress.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between therapies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills.
