Responsibilities
- Deliver treatment services for impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status under the direction and supervision of the treating occupational therapist.
- Participate in developing and evaluating the plan of care in partnership with the patient, representative (if any), and caregiver(s).
- Assist in documenting patients' progress and response to treatment.
- Teach task-oriented therapeutic activities designed to restore physical function and sensory-integrative function.
- Teach compensatory techniques to improve independence in daily living activities (ADLs).
