$48 per visit, with competitive weekly pay and Direct Deposit available.
Job Description
- Provide home-based physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength, and functionality due to illness or injury.
- Work as part of a home health team, including an RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, OT, and SLP, focused on the patient's plan of care and goals.
- Act at the direction and under the supervision of the treating Physical Therapist and in accordance with the plan of care.
- Assist the treating Physical Therapist in documenting exercises in the patient's chart and printing out exercises for home use as directed.
- Participate in educating the patient and the family with exercises under the direct supervision of the treating Physical Therapist, and other caregivers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program and active PTA license in Colorado.
- Minimum of one (1) year of physical therapy assistant experience, preferably in a home healthcare setting.
- CPR Certification required.
- Pass a background check and drug test.
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
- Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity, and compassion.
