Compensation:
The pay for this role is $55 - $125 per visit, with competitive, weekly pay that includes travel time and mileage reimbursement. Additionally, full-time employees receive holiday and PTO pay.
Job Description:
As a Home Health Registered Nurse at Interim HealthCare, you will provide home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries, and chronic diseases. Your responsibilities will include examining patients, conducting assessments, documenting progress, and reporting changes to physicians. You will also educate patients on their plan of care, prescribed medication, therapy, diet, and exercise, as well as coach family members on patient safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in Colorado
- Minimum one year of nursing experience, preferably in home healthcare
- Wound care experience is preferred
- CPR certification is required
- No COVID vaccination requirement
- Pass a background check and drug test
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
- Clinical proficiency in nursing specialty, strong communication skills, and compassion
