Job Description:
As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to an illness or injury. You will work as part of a home health team, focused on the patient's plan of care and personal goals. Your responsibilities include assessing patient deficits, establishing therapy goals, and documenting progress. You will also assist patients with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination, suggest adaptive equipment to offer added support, and educate patients and families on plan of care and self-care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful as a Home Health Occupational Therapist at Interim HealthCare, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, an active OT license in Colorado, and a minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience in home healthcare. You should also possess CPR Certification and pass a background check and drug test. Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and compassion are essential for this role.
