Job Description
As a Private Duty Nurse with Interim HealthCare, you'll:
- Provide direct patient care according to the provider's prescribed plan of care while monitoring progress and recovery.
- Assess and document patient conditions, reporting changes as needed.
- Administer medication, insulin, and IV/fluids, documenting thoroughly.
- Care for wounds, change dressings, and assist with personal hygiene.
- Assess patients for further injuries, infections, or other health concerns, delivering appropriate treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Nursing Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state associated with this position.
- Certifications: Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
- Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations.
- Prior Experience: Prior experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is preferred but not required.
