Roles and Responsibilities :
Test software following a formal testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms. Perform baseline, integration, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts. Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner.
Basic Qualifications :
- Two or more years of experience as a test engineer developing / executing test scripts and analyzing results in while performing system testing of complex systems.
- Strong Python experience
- Ability to develop, build, and test multiple lab environments using various telephony and networking hardware following formal testing methods.
- Experience using and developing scripts in Python and creating regular expressions for searching data sets.
- Experience integrating new and old technologies into existing network configurations and test beds.
- Ability to set priorities and rearrange schedules to address unexpected issues; and perform baseline, unit / integration, component, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts.
- Experience creating scenarios that support the creation of test cases and procedures; and the ability to manage discrepancy reports identified during testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline (or four additional years of related experience may be substituted for Bachelor's degree)
