Roles and Responsibilities :
- Ten years' of experience as a Logistician that includes managing property accounting processes and associated forms; automated inventory control systems;
and processing paperwork related to Government Bill of Lading and the DD1149
Must be Fork Lift Certified, also experience with :
- Electric Pallet Jack, shrink wrapping, Agency Inventory Process, Utilizing FACTS.
- Receiving, Shipping, transferring, storing, excessing and barcoding property.
Description :
Procure materials. Manage the supply chain at every step of the procurement process. Provide for storage and delivery of materials.
Arrange transportation and shipment of materials to different locations throughout the world in a timely manner
- The Level 2 Logistician shall possess the following capabilities :
- Conduct inventory control to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved, or transferred.
- Complete monthly inventory reports per government guidelines.
- Maintain the Government Property Accountability System by providing entries for incoming property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property, and excessed property.
- Assist system developers and integrators during shipments of systems and system upgrades.
- Coordinate and perform all property accountability functions and property management functions in accordance with government guidance and industry best practices.
- Develop inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved, or transferred.
- Develop material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage, and disposition of property.
- Establish program level Government Property Accountability System(s) for incoming property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property, and excessed property.
- Coordinate all aspects of shipments resulting from systems integration and system upgrade activities.
- Must be Fork Lift Certified, also experience with :
- Electric Pallet Jack, Shrink wrapping, Agency Inventory Process, Utilizing FACTS.
- Receiving, Shipping, transferring, storing, excessing and barcoding property.
