We are seeking an Expeditor for our busy Interior Design Firm located in Annapolis, MD.
This position involves coordinating product purchases, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials for projects, acting as a crucial link between designers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement and Purchasing:
- Coordinating product purchases, generating purchase orders, and ensuring accurate ordering.
- Working closely with vendors, warehouses, and freight services to ensure timely delivery.
Project Management:
- Tracking the status of orders and deliveries for multiple projects.
- Managing inventory and ensuring deliveries are properly set and all items are accounted for.
- Preparing and sending weekly expediting reports to designers.
Communication and Coordination:
- Maintaining open communication with designers, vendors, and clients.
- Resolving any issues or delays that may arise during the procurement process.
- Ensuring smooth communication between clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in project management and coordination, with a proven track record in directing and instructing team members
- The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with team members, stakeholders, and clients effectively
- They must be able to convey ideas, requirements, and progress clearly and diplomatically
- The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
