Key Responsibilities
- Engage in hand drafting and space planning, utilizing both CAD and manual drafting techniques.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of architectural detailing and effectively interpret design plans.
- Assist in the selection of fabrics, furniture, wallpaper, and accessories for various projects.
- Maintain comprehensive project paperwork, including budgetary guidelines and procedural documentation.
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Communicate any customer service concerns to the appropriate representative.
- Support window treatment design and verify calculations in both the Builder and Residential Departments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and hand drafting skills with a focus on space planning.
- Strong ability to read and understand architectural plans and details.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A minimum of a 4-year degree in Interior Design is required.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in interior design is preferred.
