Interior Design Assistant

• Utilize Design Manager for accounting, quoting, create proposals, and expediting.
• Collaborate with the lead designer in color and furniture selections.
• Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring adherence to client requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding design choices and project updates.
• Support the preparation of contracts and documentation related to design projects.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for project tracking and financial management.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Design / Interior Design
• Experience in the design industry is preferred and eagerness to grow and learn
• Computer skills are required to be successful in role
• Educate clients on the custom design process, obtaining necessary approvals, signatures, and payments.
• Impact Motivated - Desire to improve the overall business and contribute to the overall strategy
• Assist in sourcing and researching fabrics, wall coverings, furniture, antiques, decorative accessories for client projects.
• Multitasking is the key to success in this role so you must be able to juggle multiple projects at time and be able to adapt quickly

• Able to prioritize daily tasks
• Detail oriented and organized
• Support clients during meetings by offering product samples and coordinating shipping when needed
• Manage project logistics, including order tracking, scheduling, and overseeing installations with various vendors and clients
• Driver License Required and ability to commute to Palm Beach area

Additional Qualifications but not required: CAD (Computer-aided design)
Preferred Program Knowledge: Design Manager, Microsoft Office, Excel, Quickbooks, Outlook, Gmail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
