Summary
The primary responsibility of the Production Associate is to coordinate all day-to-day operations of the production team to ensure the efficient completion of jobs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend and stoop for 8 hours. Minor lifting and carrying may be required.
Work Environment
- Work performed at construction jobsites and office.
Skills & Qualifications

Level I:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual experience preferred, but not required (English/Spanish)
- Experience in a production or production support a plus
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with builders, vendors, subordinates, and co-workers
- Proactively identify, analyze, address, and resolve problem areas, conflicts, and issues
- Exhibits sound and accurate judgment, supports and explains reasoning for decisions, includes appropriate people in decision-making process, and makes timely decisions
- Strong organizational skills to ensure adequate tracking systems are utilized to maintain and track all required information associated with the ordering and production process
- Working knowledge of internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheet and word process software and order processing systems

Level II:
- All Qualifications in Level I plus:
- 2 to 3 years of experience
- Ability to solve field and production related issues
- Ability to communicate with representatives from the builder side

Level III:
- All Qualifications in Level II plus:
- 3 or more years of experience
- Ability to solve high level production related issues and support communication with builders and home buyers
Essential Functions

Level I
- Schedule jobs and installation with builder Superintendents
- Maintain and track schedule changes on the builder portal daily
- Communicate schedule changes to all relevant departments in the market
- Verify production capacity in the field

Level II
- All Functions included in Level I plus:
- Ability to resolve schedule issues with the branches and builders
- Support the branches in schedule changes and production capacity
- Coordinate more complex builder schedule

Level III
- All Functions included in Level II plus:
- Train and coach production coordinators
- Ability to support high level issues of schedule with the builders’ reps and/or leadership
