Job Summary:
Accountable for collecting timekeeping information, incorporating a variety of deductions into a periodic payroll, and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees.
Job Duties:
· Maintains all payroll records and systems. Preferably STRONG background in ADP Workforce now
· Processes time records and submits accurate payroll and payroll reporting
· Processes biweekly payroll.
This includes collecting and verifying data per project. Ensuring that hours provided have been approved by Dispatch (based on dispatchers schedule).
· Processes certified payrolls and provides customers with those reports within 10 days of the completion of the work.
· Prepares payroll checks for distribution to employees.
· Prepares and issue earning Statements.
· Issuing paychecks and managing direct deposits.
· Coordinate with the HR Department to ensure correct employee data.
· Maintains employee loans records
· Collects and summarizes timekeeping information.
· Obtains supervisory approval of time card discrepancies.
· Maintains and processes Garnishments and/or Levy Records.
· Researches and resolves payroll and billing discrepancies.
· Assists with the yearly Financial Audit (Payroll Records)
· Provide administrative assistance to the accounting department.
· Maintains employees’ attendance records.
· Processes weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and archives under the 3 entities for payroll and benefits.
· Maintains transactions related to payroll. This includes, but not limited to:
Billing, Reconciliation of accounts and Journal Entries to QuickBooks and Spectrum.
· Assists others with payroll issues as needed.
· Assists in special projects as necessary.
· Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Ability:
· Bi-lingual Spanish required.
· Ability to handle a high volume of work in a timely and efficient manner with a keen attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent knowledge of Payroll.
· Knowledge and understanding of basic regulatory requirements.
· Ability to interact with employees in a professional manner.
· Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally.
· Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast- paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, employees, and management.
· Professional decorum and business maturity required.
· Ability to successfully serve as a member of a team.
· Position may require overtime with little or no advance notice given.
· Must possess strong work ethics. Able to multi-task.
· Must be well organized and a self- starter.
· Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable, strong organizational and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
