Sales Consultant - Designer Furniture | New York City
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and sales-oriented individual with retail sales experience to join a talented team for a luxury brand. Work with consumers and design professionals in this role with this family-run business whose roots come from the 1800s.
We seek a dynamic individual who consistently works to achieve monthly and annual sales goals and is committed to outstanding customer service and high brand standards to join our client's team as a Luxury Retail Sales Consultant in the New York City Park Avenue store. The ideal candidate maintains and expands sales with existing and new clients, serves as the brand ambassador, and can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. The position will report directly to the Showroom Manager.
Qualifications
- 2 years of direct sales experience within the retail industry.
- Experience with direct client interfacing.
- Keen eye for opportunities.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented and well-organized in order to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Quick learning and hard-working.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office.
- Natural curiosity, desire to learn, positive attitude, passion for design, and willingness to ask questions.
