Design Sales Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is responsible for creating and selling high-quality cabinetry designs while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining profitable margins.
- Design and draft cabinetry that aligns with customer needs and expectations.
- Assist in establishing schedules and deadlines for sold projects to ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinate efforts across departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay updated on industry events, market trends, and design styles.
- Conduct sales calls, schedule meetings, and establish new client relationships.
- Assist with creating estimates based on drawings and project specifications.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in sales, interior design or related field preferred.
- ~3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in cabinetry design and sales.
- ~ Proven sales abilities and strong client management skills.
- ~ Proficiency in industry-specific software, including Cabinet Vision, Bluebeam Revu, Vortek Spaces, and Microsoft Office.
- ~ Ability to design, estimate, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- ~ Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting cabinetry drawings, blueprints, and floor plans.
- ~ Ability to analyze drawings and create accurate project estimates.
- ~ Proven ability to develop new client relationships and conduct effective sales meetings.
- ~ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address design and layout challenges.
- ~ In-depth knowledge of industry trends, cabinetry styles, and materials.
- ~ Excellent mechanical aptitude and creative problem-solving skills.
- ~ Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
- ~ Valid driver's license and ability to travel the area.
