Job Description

Community Association Manager

Summary/Objective: Provides management, direction, and leadership to ensure the property is maintained and operated in accordance with IPS objectives. Property Managers are certified and licensed by the State of Florida for Community Association Management (CAM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as liaison between clients, IPS, and support staff.
  • Work with the Association Board of Directors and operate the community.
  • Prepare annual budgets and analyze monthly financial statements.
  • Maintain property files and records.
  • Supervise on-site team members.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Coordinate the move-in process for new residents.
  • Respond to phone calls and correspondence promptly.
  • Run Board of Directors meetings when necessary.
  • Prepare management reports, presentations, and budgets.
  • Monitor contracts and ensure vendor compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records and update association communications.

Supervisory Responsibility: Manage on-site staff.

Work Environment: Professional office setting with standard office equipment.

Physical Demands: Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms. Daily property walks include stair climbing.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Hours determined by the Board of Directors.

Travel: Some local travel for training and meetings.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Three years of experience in community property management or similar.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Florida CAM license.
  • Valid FL Driver’s license.
  • Flexibility in work hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to manage emergency situations promptly.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
