POSITION TITLE: Pickleball Professional
JOB SUMMARY: Organizes and directs all Club Pickleball activities, events, tournaments, and lessons.
WORK PERFORMED:
1. *The Pickleball Professional will be responsible for delivering high-quality Pickleball instruction, organizing and leading leagues, tournaments, clinics, & camps and enhancing the overall Pickleball experience for our members and guests.
2. *The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for the game, and a commitment to helping players improve their skills and enjoy the sport.
3. *Provide private and group lessons to members of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
4. *Organize and lead Pickleball leagues, tournaments, clinics, and camps that cater to various skill levels and age groups.
5. *Promote and oversee Pickleball socials, programming, and private events as assigned, in conjunction with the Director of Tennis.
6. *Assess players’ skills and progress, offering constructive feedback and personalized training plans.
7. *Ensure members understand Pickleball rules, etiquette, and safety protocols.
8. *Provide exceptional service to members and guests, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to Pickleball programs.
9. *Actively promote Pickleball programs and events with members to foster community engagement and promote the sport.
10. *Work with management to order Pickleball merchandise as needed.
11. *Ensure the Pickleball courts and surrounding areas are well-maintained, safe, & welcoming, reporting any damage or required repairs to the Director of Tennis.
12. *Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
13. *Support event setup and takedown, ensuring facilities meet event requirements.
14. *Support the management team as needed.

Requirements
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. *Required to demonstrate physical endurance while in constant motion.
2. *Required to frequently bend, stretch and reach.
3. *Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to communicate policies, procedures and objectives to staff and to represent the Club positively in the community.
4. *Must be able to work in the heat and sun for prolonged periods of time.
