Responsibilities And Expectations
- Support Catering and Events Leaders in managing banquets and club events, ensuring food and service quality meets standards.
- Review BEOs and room setup sheets to set tables and assign sections as needed.
- Attend and occasionally lead pre-shift meetings.
- Have full knowledge of the banquet menu and serve food and beverages to guests.
- Be proficient in the F&B POS system and train others on its use.
- Properly present, open, and serve wine, while training team members to do the same.
- Communicate any food service issues to Catering and Events Leaders.
- Assist with opening/closing duties and participate in special setups (buffets, displays, etc.).
- Train, motivate, and enforce policies, side work tasks, and procedures.
- Ensure team members complete side work at the end of shifts.
- Close and secure the building when needed.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a banquet serving position. Banquet lead or banquet captain experience is a plus.
- Basic math knowledge and cash-handling skills.
- Maintain a flexible schedule and availability.

- Long hours on foot, walking and standing (4-8 hours). Some double shifts may be up to 10- 12 hours. Breaks are included.
- Repeated lifting and carrying (minimum 25-30 lbs.)
- This position is available as a full-time position. Team members must be willing to have flexible schedules and must be willing to work week days, weekends, and select holidays. Shifts will vary in length pending the type of event(s).
- Competitive Compensation: The hiring rate for this position is $25.00/hr plus a portion of the service charge on all banquet Food and Beverage sales which are pooled between all banquet team members based on hours worked for that pay period.
