Caddie Manager
Interlachen Country Club is seeking a Caddie Manager. The Caddie Manager is a positive, self-motivated leader passionate about planning and delivering an exceptional golf experience. They oversee all aspects of Interlachen's caddie program and support the outside operations team. They lead by example, anticipating member, guest, and caddie needs throughout the property. They are the consummate professional and enthusiastic team player who constantly strives to elevate the member and guest experience.

Responsibilities and Expectations :
Leadership and Teamwork :
- Live our values; foster a positive work environment for your team
- Build relationships with fellow teammates and caddies; take an interest in their life and work
- Be a coach and mentor; provide fair, kind, and timely feedback
- Delegate responsibilities to teammates for the caddie program to run smoothly in your absence
- Partner with the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional on culture-building initiatives
- Be punctual and timely in your work and correspondence
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Seek knowledge of Interlachen, golf, and the top caddie programs
Daily Operations :
Take a hands-on approach to all aspects of the golf operationUnderstand the operation thoroughly, including Interlachen Country Club's Policies and Rules and the Golf Operation Standards, Policies, and ProceduresWelcome all members and guests to the club by name whenever possibleStrive to exceed expectations; anticipate and respond to member and guest wants and needsWork collaboratively with all departments and teammates to provide an exceptional golf experiencePolitely enforce club policies as needed, such as dress code, pace of play, etc.Caddie Program :
Oversee all aspects of the caddie program.Lead caddie recruitment in partnership with the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional to ensure availability throughout the seasonBuild a relationship with the Western Golf Association and Evans FoundationDevelop and coordinate new caddie trainingEnsure all caddies adhere to proper policies and proceduresUnderstand independent contractor lawsManage Caddie software (ForeTees)Monitor and manage caddie classification (Professional, Honor, A, and B)Keep caddies well informed of upcoming club events, Evans Scholarship, moving up to the next classification, etc.Serve as the first and last impression for members, guests, and caddies at the Bag DropOutside Operations :
Work as a member of the outside operations team (bag drop, bag room, practice range, etc.), filling roles as necessaryCollaborate with outside operations manager to ensure that outside operations standards are met dailyIdeal Qualifications and Attributes :
Education and Experience :
Must have a high school diplomaCollege degree preferredAt least three years as a caddieAttributes :
