Responsibilities And Expectations
- Fill and replace divots on tees, fairways, approaches, and practice areas
- Repair ball marks on golf course and practice area greens
- Monitor, refill, and blend divot mix seed/soil blends
- Assist with course set up and presentation
- Daily manual labor involved in golf course maintenance
- Assist with minor cultural practices and turf repairs
- Maintain landscapes and practice areas
- Operate light equipment in hauling materials and removing debris
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- 1 year of experience in golf, landscaping, maintenance, or working outdoors (preferred but not necessary)
- Experience being a part of a team
- Detail-Oriented - Take pride in maintaining a professional standard of work and a high level of accuracy
- Coachable - Ability to take feedback, learn new tasks, and act upon it
- Team Player - Actively listens to teammates, respects ideas, and aims to improve the product or process at hand
- Respectful - Be courteous and supportive in all interactions with teammates and members
- Resilient - Able to withstand or recover from challenging conditions
- Able to demonstrate physical strength and stamina
- Able to work outdoors and stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- 5x 4 hour days: Monday - Friday. With some weekend work available as needed
- Availability is extremely flexible and our team will work with your schedule
- Early mornings and weekend morning shifts may be available
- Ability to work from April - October
- $15-$18/hr.
