What are the responsibilities and job description for the WMS Implementation Design Lead position at Interlake Mecalux, Inc.?
We are seeking talented and experienced technical personnel to join our Software Division. This role would be available at our Melrose Park, IL office.
The WMS Implementation Design Lead role is critical to the successful implementation of our WMS software at customer sites, serving as a post-sales technical resource and point of contact for customers through the implementation, training, and deployment processes, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand the supply chain needs of customers, including picking, kitting, shipping, inventory, cross-docking, and warehousing.
- Apply knowledge of hardware and software co-design systems to determine necessary configurations for customers with existing ERP systems.
- Communicate software customization and configuration to internal WMS Developers based on customer supply chain needs.
- Validate the WMS system with clients.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients to modify solutions or provide further training.
- Travel to various customer sites across the USA to fulfill responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in consultative sales and/or logistics software consulting (WMS-SGA).
- Strong knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management.
- SQL knowledge is preferred.
- .Net platform knowledge, especially C# or other object-related languages, is preferred.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time, working in the Melrose Park, IL office the remainder of the time.
- Fluency in Spanish is valued.
