Summary/Objective The Unlicensed Loan Partner assists the Loan Originator with compiling the necessary documents for submission of mortgage loan applications. The position is responsible for communicating with clients and other parties of interest. |
Essential Duties

- Manages Loan Originator’s production pipeline to determine the status of loan applications.
- Assists the Loan Originator with compiling tax returns, credit reports, income statements, and asset documentation for determining the creditworthiness of borrowers.
- Communicates with borrowers and other parties of interest to provide updates, answer questions, and request any necessary documentation for files.
- Ensures documents for underwriting are submitted before service-level agreement deadlines.
- Notifies the Loan Originator whenever borrower documents do not satisfy underwriting conditions.
- Informs borrowers of disclosure deadlines to ensure the timely closing of loans.
- Assists Loan Originator with customer retention and business development initiatives.
- Maintains current knowledge of agency and investor guidelines as well as state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
Requires a high school diploma.
Preferred Education/Experience
Ability to navigate Encompass or similar loan origination software programs.
