Job Description:
Apartment Leasing Consultant:MUST KNOW YARDI
Responsible for the leasing, marketing, and resident relations of multi-family residential apartments.
Reports to: Community Manager/ Leasing Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, providing excellent customer service to residents, vendors, and prospects
- Great and qualify prospective residents, tour the apartment homes and community, and utilize closing techniques to secure the lease
- Record and follow up on all internet, telephone, virtual, and in-person leads using the provided CRM system
- Maintain compliance with company procedures and Fair Housing requirements
- Process applications for approvals. (i.e., credit check, rental history, income qualifications, etc.) Follow up with applicant regarding status, process lease execution, and facilitate move-in
- Assist in securing resident renewals, utilizing company processes and systems
- Reputation management including monitoring advertising sites for accuracy and effectiveness, creating social media content, and generating positive property reviews
- Outreach marketing planning, execution, and tracking of results with the purpose of driving qualified traffic to the property and enhancing the business reputation in the greater community
Requirements
- At least 6 months experience as a Leasing Consultant in a Multifamily environment
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
- Operate telephone, personal computer/keyboard, Microsoft Office including Word and MS Outlook; previous experience with and/or ability to learn and navigate industry-specific software platforms
- Must possess a positive attitude and adaptability
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; may include weekends
- Professional image and dress required
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
