Job Summary: InterLink is seeking a highly motivated and dependable Transportation Specialist. As a Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transport of voluntary repossessions and impounds ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service. This role works closely with drivers, clients, debtors, and internal agents to facilitate the smooth and timely movement of vehicles.
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
· Answer phones assisting callers including clients, debtors, and transporters
· Maintain email inbox with urgency including but not limited to accepting closes/holds and accessing client web portals to review/make updates and review for releases
· Notify lot attendants of appointment arrivals
· Provide customer service during appointments including retrieving personal property during appointments
· Assist customers and transporters with lot access and completing and signing documentation
· Facilitate making of keys
· Maintain repossession files including scanning documents as well as maintenance of file retention and disposal
· Run company errands as needed
· Perform light janitorial duties to maintain a clean working environment and property room
· Clean cars as needed
· Photograph cars as needed
· Back-up for other office assistants and lot attendants
· Other duties as assigned
Transportation Specialist Specific Responsibilities:
- Transfer unsigned and signed documents to appropriate sites
· Ensure all documentation is prepared and accurate for transport signing
· Update appointment status when complete in CD
· Communicate directly with transports re issues and concerns
· Dispatch or set-up transport for InterLink/company owned trucks
· Assists other locations with accepting or denying calendar appointments
· Perform new hire onboarding
· Voluntary impound scheduling
· Works closely with clients to get units off the lot and sends lot reports for verification
Office Assistant Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Valid driver's license
· At least 2 years of customer service experience
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
· Self-motivated with ability to work with little to no supervision
· Repossession, tow lot, or other similar experience preferred
