Our client is actively seeking a highly motivated Corporate Associate with 5-8 years of experience to join their Corporate, M&A, and Securities Practice Group in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to become part of a dynamic and growing team in one of the country’s most respected law firms. The ideal candidate will have broad-based general corporate experience, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and private equity matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on a variety of general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and securities law matters.
- Collaborate with clients, partners, and associates on corporate strategy and complex transactions.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents associated with M&A and private equity deals.
- Support the team in the execution of corporate transactions, including due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, high-quality legal support.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
Qualifications:
- At least 5-8 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
- Securities law knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Self-motivated, confident, and personable team player with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Admitted to practice in Texas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build client relationships and provide legal advice in a clear and concise manner.
