Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Partner to join their Jacksonville office. Their nationally recognised team provides comprehensive legal counsel to public and private entities throughout every stage of the business cycle—from formation and governance to strategic growth, compliance, and transactions. The Group serves a diverse range of clients, including startups, Fortune 500 companies, closely held family businesses, and franchised operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as lead advisor to clients on complex corporate matters including governance, compliance, risk management, and business operations.
- Lead and manage sophisticated transactions such as mergers & acquisitions, venture capital, and project finance.
- Counsel clients on corporate compliance and ethics, D&O and management liability, and securities law matters.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the firm to deliver integrated legal solutions.
- Cultivate and expand client relationships, contributing to business development and firm growth.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Extensive corporate law experience in a reputable law firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in areas such as M&A, private equity, venture capital, corporate governance, and securities.
- Portable book of business.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead complex legal matters.
