They are seeking an experienced IP Litigation Partner to join their Tampa office. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex intellectual property litigation matters, including patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and unfair competition disputes.
- Represent clients in proceedings before the USPTO, TTAB, PTAB, and U.S. courts, including federal district courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies aligned with clients' business goals and technological strengths.
- Collaborate with technical experts, investigators, and cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive litigation support.
- Contribute to firm-wide IP strategy, business development efforts, and client relationship management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida Bar, or eligibility to waive in.
- Extensive experience in IP litigation, ideally with first-chair trial experience.
- Proven track record in handling complex intellectual property disputes from inception through trial and appeal.
- Strong understanding of USPTO processes and litigation before TTAB and PTAB; prior experience as a USPTO examiner is a plus.
- Portable book of business.
