Job Description:
Our client is actively seeking a mid to senior-level associate with 3 years of experience to join our dynamic Employment Group. This position offers a unique opportunity to support cross-border and global employment work, with a strong preference for candidates with international counseling experience. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across our clients global employment practice.
The associate will be responsible for conducting employment diligence and advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, drafting and negotiating employment agreements, retention agreements, and advising on reductions in force and other employee terminations. Additionally, the role will include counseling on employee mobility, drafting restrictive covenants, and providing advice to emerging companies in all aspects of employment law.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in employment counseling (domestic and/or international).
- Experience at a direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred.
- JD from a nationally recognized law school.
- Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction in which you are applying.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- International counseling experience strongly preferred.
