Job Summary
Inventory Control Specialist, oversees the ordering, storing, receiving and distributing processes of our products and supplies. Main duties include controlling the flow of product and tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation. Participates in the continuous quality improvement process. Maintains a working knowledge of company standards and operating procedures. This knowledge may include the use of specialized instrumentation, quality control requirements, and preventive maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. This position requires a strong understanding of retail operations and the ability to analyze sales data to drive performance.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their shopping needs.
- Assist customers in selecting products and provide detailed information about features and benefits.
- Maintain an organized work area, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed.
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Support inventory management by assisting with stock replenishment and conducting regular audits.
Skills

- Experience in retail management or a distribution center/warehouse environment is required.
