We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Community Manager to work in tandem with the Property Manager in the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of property management principles, ensuring that our community is well-maintained and that residents enjoy a high quality of life. This role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding Fair Housing regulations.
Duties
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Oversee property maintenance, coordinating with maintenance staff and vendors to address resident requests and ensure timely repairs.
- Utilize software for data entry, tracking resident information, and managing lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate files related to resident leases, maintenance requests, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure safety standards are met and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster positive relationships with residents through effective communication, addressing concerns promptly, and organizing community events.
Skills
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and property management practices is essential.
- Proficiency in property management systems is preferred.
- Experience in facilities management and understanding of property maintenance processes.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently in an office environment.
- Legal administrative knowledge related to property management is a plus.
