ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Answer incoming phone calls for the Women’s Health team and return voicemails
- Maintain extensive knowledge of all Women’s Health providers’ panel & clinic access, scheduling preferences, compatible insurance plans, and standard visit schedule
- Schedule initial new patient appointments and reschedule appointments as needed
- Verify insurance and coverage
- Work with HIM Department to request outside records
- Maintain documentation for new patients consisting of new inbound calls, eCW special requests, and acute scheduling
- Assist Administrative Team with scheduling routine and follow up appointments
- Address basic billing questions and redirect as appropriate
- Appropriately schedules all incoming referrals to the practice
- Prepare and mail welcome packages to new patients
- Confirm future appointments
- Provide general practice information for patients as needed
- Cover reception desks and PSR phones as requested by coordinator or manager
- Review accounts for duplicates, merging profiles as necessary
- Report unique new patient, insurance, and placement issues to Manager
- Communicate regularly with management to ensure appropriate placement based on access
- Enter referral data in the computer system
- Maintain panel lists for all providers for each insurance company
- Other responsibilities as directed by coordinator or manager

Fulltime 36 hours per week.
