What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prescription Specialist - Part Time Position, Friday/Saturday position at InterMED?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Accurately transcribe patient prescription requests received through voicemail, portal requests and fax into the electronic medical record for processing
- Complete prescription requests that fall within InterMed's Prescription Refill Protocol
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with clinical care teams
- Collaborate with local pharmacies to clarify questions and / or concerns related to prescriptions
- Process prescription documents received by electronic fax in accordance with procedure guidelines
- Call patients to obtain additional information
- Other responsibilities, as assigned

SCHEDULE :
Part Time - 10hr Friday and 10hr Saturday (20hr total)
