Chief Pilot (Corporate)
Provide leadership and management oversight of the Corporate Pilots and aircraft, cultivating a culture that strives for operational safety at a "Best Practices" level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct flight crews in standard operating procedures and measure effectiveness.
- Define measurable individual performance goals, monitor and communicate via regular feedback and annual performance reviews.
- Provide coaching and developmental opportunities for direct reports and oversee department personnel training.
- Safely conduct flight operations in compliance with Federal, State, Local, and foreign regulations.
- Maintain Corporate aircraft and facilities to a high standard and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Assist in record keeping requirements, including lease agreements, employee records, and aircraft records.
- Represent the company in aviation matters through trade associations and government officials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Management from an Accredited College/University or CTM.
- Minimum 7 years as Pilot in Command of multi-engine turbine aircraft.
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operators Permit, and current FAA Medical Certificate.
- 4,000 hours Total time, with 2,000 PIC Turbine/ME and 500 hours Make/Model experience.
