Product Development Manager - Polyurethanes - NJ - to $165K

• Manages Production Development team supporting adhesives and coatings for packaging materials with a focus on sustainability.
• Drives development of high quality and innovative products to meet SBU strategic and financial goals.
• Identifies new trends in packaging, adhesives, and coatings technology and invests resources appropriately to maintain leadership in the industry.
• Develops and implements processes to ensure consistent Production Development, managing opportunity and risk appropriately.
• Supports and executes IP Strategy as well as captures and defends the company's intellectual property through patents.
• Prioritizes global / regional projects, assigns and leverages resources regionally.
• Ensures timely development, scale up and launch of products.
• Provides technical support to Manufacturing / Quality and enables faster scale ups.
• Supports and builds upon laboratory safety culture and best practices.

• Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a relevant technology or market.
• People management and leadership experience preferred Innovation management and track record of commercial success.
• Chemistry knowledge of polyurethanes is preferred.
• Technology scouting experience preferred.
