OPEN JOB: Sales Territory Manager - Building Products to the Healthcare and Spaces Markets
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Sales Territory Manager will be responsible for maximizing sales and ensuring market penetration with existing accounts, as well as actively pursuing new customers and developing new opportunities. This position requires a strong understanding of the construction/bidding process, excellent presentation and computer skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships. The territory will cover Eastern Ohio, West Pennsylvania & West Virginia.
Responsibilities and Key Activities:
1. Owns responsibility for maximizing sales and ensuring market penetration with existing accounts.
2. Actively pursues new customers and develops new opportunities.
3. Specifies most product lines in the Healthcare and Spaces markets.
4. Develops and maintains strong relationships with architecture and design firms.
5. Recognized as an industry resource and product expert by maintaining strong relationships across the customer base.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will reside near the Pittsburgh area and be passionate about selling products that are of the highest quality and value in their class. They must be a self-starter, organized, and recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships. Prior outside sales experience calling in construction or building products, calling on architects and designers, is preferred.
