Intermediate District 287 is looking for a part-time Orientation and Mobility Specialist for the 2025-2026 school year with Itinerant Services!
Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12, as well as transition age students (18-22 years old), from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs, primarily focused on setting IV special education, that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Salary & Benefits:
- Salary is based on Local 2209 Salary Schedule A: $48,819 - $96,833 (depending on experience and education)

Requirements:
- Interested in candidates who are: diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations
- Bachelor's degree in orientation and mobility from an accredited college or university
- Master’s degree in orientation and mobility is preferred
- Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Education in orientation and mobility
- An additional license in vision impairment is preferred
- National Certification from Association for Education and Rehabilitation of Blind/Visually Impaired (AER)
- Valid Minnesota driver's license is required
