What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reading Interventionist position at Intermountain Christian School?
Intermountain Christian School (ICS) is accepting applications for a part-time elementary school reading interventionist. This opening is for the 2025-2026 school year and will begin August 1, 2025. ICS is a Christ-centered learning community that exists to equip and inspire students to thrive in God’s world. We are seeking passionate and dedicated educators who share our values and vision for equipping the next generation of leaders. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment where students can grow both academically and spiritually. They will have a passion for helping students develop strong literacy skills and a commitment to ongoing professional growth. The reading interventionist will provide targeted instruction to support struggling readers, implement research-based intervention strategies, and collaborate with teachers and parents to promote student success.
This position requires the applicant to profess faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and be eligible for either Utah or ACSI teacher certification. The ideal candidate will have a background in reading instruction at the elementary school level. They will possess a passion for student discipleship, an interest in Biblical integration, a commitment to curiosity and growth, and a desire to pursue educational best practices.
