Intermountain Claims, Inc., a premier regional third-party administrator, is seeking a full-time Claims Assistant in our Missoula, Montana office. Primary Job Duties:
- File Setup/Data Entry
- Efficiently copy, print, and/or scan files and sort chronologically
- Prepare and process time sensitive forms and form letters
- Assist in processing reports to clients
- Maintain closed claim inventory and storage
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Ongoing contact with clients and vendors
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be a team player and able to develop and maintain effective relationships.
- Ability to manage communications involving sensitive & confidential matters requiring professionalism, tact, and discretion.
- Proficient computer and data entry skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Internet search engines, and Web based applications.
- Strong typing and computer skills.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organization skills and the ability to demonstrate fiduciary responsibility and high ethical standards.
- Must be able to work in a team environment, while prioritizing work and maintaining an accurate, timely and professional work product. Must be able to meet critical deadlines.
- It is important that applicant have exceptional telephone, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Available to work 5 days per week: 40 hours a week for full-time position.
A successful candidate will possess:

- Ability to learn internal claim software programs.
- Desire to provide excellent customer service to external & internal customers.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team setting and with people from varied backgrounds.
