Overview of the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience managing transmission line projects from conceptualization to completion. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Electrical or Civil/Structural Engineering from accredited institution
- 5 years engineering experience that includes overhead transmission and distribution line planning, analysis, calculations, and design
- Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Manage and design overhead power transmission and distribution line projects
- Apply sound engineering principles and practices in project design
- Make decisions independently on engineering approach and methods
- Supervise, coordinate, and review work of designers and drafters on assigned work
