Job Overview:
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating steel erection projects from start to finish. You will work closely with project managers, construction teams, and clients to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities and manage project schedules to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Monitor project progress and track key milestones to ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Track project costs and help ensure that the project stays within budget.
- Organize and attend project meetings, take meeting minutes, and distribute action items.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Support the project management team with any administrative tasks or coordination needs.
- Assist in resolving any issues that arise during project execution.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in construction project coordination or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of steel erection processes, construction procedures, and project management principles.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail with the ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Pay: $20-25 DOE
